Barlby Bridge Community Primary is situated on the A19 adjacent to what used to be Selby Toll Bridge.

The River Ouse flows majestically by the border of our grounds.

Barlby is situated on the outskirts of the market town of Selby. The area offers a rich mixture of opportunities for environmental and historical studies with Selby Abbey  situated just 200 yards from the school.  

The main section of the school was built in 1925, with additional extensions in 1992 and 1999. Our new early years unit was opened last year.
